The company’s illustrious history is marked by resilience, having weathered the substantial damage caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. This unwavering determination is a testament to their commitment to the shipbuilding and fishing industries in Kesennuma.
Mirai was conceived as a union of five companies, some of which boast over a century of shipbuilding heritage. Together, they endeavor to carry forward their predecessors’ legacy for another hundred years, envisioning Mirai Shipbuilding as the harbinger of a brighter future in shipyard operations.

MIRAI STAR system is the standard equipment reduces the burden on navigation officers and bridge members. It integrates data on the environment around the ship obtained from cameras and sensors, etc., and provides accurate and reliable information to the operator in real time. It reduces navigation risks in situations such as during nighttime and in rough weather. It also has an object detection function at short and medium distances, allowing for safer navigation.

He honed his skills at Kidoura Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a renowned company established in the 1930s. His career reflects expertise in negotiation, international business, sales management, and manufacturing. With an Associate’s Degree in Boat Design from The Landing School, Kidoura embodies a strong commitment to shipbuilding and business development, making him a driving force in the industry.
